"FROM HEAVEN WITH LOVE" WINS
SAN FRANCISCO FILM FESTIVAL AWARD On Saturday night October 20, 2007 “FROM HEAVEN WITH LOVE” Short film was awarded and recognized for their film. Adonai Films President and Crossmix Director Mike Mireles accepted the Festival Award during the roll credits awards party held at the Voice of Pentecost Auditorium in South San Francisco, CA. Upon receiving the Jury's Award, Mike was asked to share the vision of Adonai Films. He said, "God has truly honored everyone's labor, and our loaves and fishes of faith of $125.00 in our ministry account before we started filming and Jesus kept supernaturally releasing unexpected favor, finances, artists, people and His direction during the whole year of production." Mireles continued by adding, "Which proves you don't need money, you just need Jesus, that is the checkbook of heaven." His humbleness was evident as he further said, " Today is a day I am proud for the labored work and commitment our cast and crew have done in their work in faith media ministry. This is overwhelming, since this is the first time at bat for us this year in filmmaking. We have been in a four-year preparation, the cast and crew's labor was never in vain. My deepest appreciation in love and the ministry thanks you so much for all of your prayers and encouragement during this year in the completion of this film project. We are all very humbled for this blessed award."

making of this film. Well done to all the faithful servants. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Board Member Changes Crossmix has been extremely blessed to have the Board of Directors that is has had since it's inception. With the new year upon us, Crossmix has already had a few changes and will continue to make changes to help minister to everyone in need. We are thankful to Mr. Ryan Burger, for his service as a Director of Crossmix for the past six years. Since he has taken on the responsibility as the new owner of Mobile Beat Magazine, we understand the everyday pressures of publishing a magazine and time that it consumes. With that said, Mr. Burger has made the decision to step down as a Director of Crossmix. It is with sadness and a deep regret that we are losing a Board Member of his caliber, but we extend our prayers and well wishes to him and his family and we are thankful for his servitude.
With the opening of the Directors position, Crossmix is extremely proud and pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Michael Handy of Oxford, OH, as the newest Director of Crossmix. Mr. Handy has exhibited a strong spirit to serve and has a genuine heart for the Lord and we are humbled and honored to have him aboard. Former Crossmix Director and Mobile Beat Show Producer Mike Buornnaccorso along with Crossmix Co-Founder and Executive Director, Ray Martinez were inducted into the class of 2006.
Mike Buornnaccorso and Ray Mar display their Hall of Fame Trophies Crossmix Co-Founder Bob Lindquist who was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2000 affectionately jabbed Ray Mar during his introduction. He kidded about Ray Mar's ability to talk a lot. He said, "You've heard that alcoholics seek treatment with the group called "Alconon," well Mobile Beat writer Tony Barthel suggested Ray Mar should seek help with, "On and on and on and on and on."
Two of the highlights of the evening were when Mike Buornnaccorso came up to the stage and wooed the crowd with Tom Jones' "Delilah." Legend has it that Mike has only done this twice in public at DJ shows in Canada and in Las Vegas for the 10th Anniversary Mobile Beat DJ Show. The other came when the audience of over 500 were amazed to see the "Godfather of DJ's" Ray Mar after accepting his award, come out and do a soulful James Brown routine, to "Get Up Off Of That Thing." Show host, John Rozz, came out and put on a cape as Ray mar was on bended knee. Ray Mar then got down and funky and high-stepped his way across the stage and into the splits. All in all, it was an evening of fun and excitement.
