Sally Mullins is a devoted single mother who loses her only son Jimmy in a battle with cancer. After his untimely death. In Heaven, Almighty God grants Jimmy Mullins permission for his letter to be delivered back to earth to minister to his mothers angry and grieving heart. Jimmy’s letter introduces a personal encounter of Gods healing love back into Sally’s life.

ADONAI FILMS is an Evangelical Faith Film ministry. Designed to provide an ongoing, creative, constructive fellowship environment for teens and adults gifted or interested in the performing media arts to learn the craft of film, video and the theatre under the guidance of Mike Mireles and his team of Christian industry professionals.

Adonai Films ministry home based is Houston Texas . The Ministry films are not reliant on special effects, digital camera tricks, action testosterone driven dialogue. We have willingly and passionately answered God's call to set the new film genre standard in family films manifested for the new church displayed for cinematic screens.  

Adonai Films does not cast or operate by the Hollywood system, we only apply the lord's Holy-word system. Another motive for Adonai Films is to create and produce anointed film cinema projects, in order to discern cast and hire unknown talent in the church body who are willing and obedient in serving the Kings of Kings.

 

Many in the media entertainment field who have turned the hearts over to God have left the Hollywood Media system of business are hungry to serve and be effectively used by God. The word of God says never to despise humble beginnings “Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would increase abundantly.” –Job 8:7.

Almighty God does not overlook Shepard’s servants in the adventurous work of ministry. King David started off as a shepherd boy that served his own fathers house, no one, not even in his own family suspected how gifted, skilled, talented,  and anointed he was.  David was the last person to be considered a King, but Jesus said he who is last shall be first.  The prophet Jeremiah said “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." ... 29:11 (NIV).

     Madi Portes was raised in Brooklyn, NY and began taking formal jazz dancing classes at the age of 14. Her dancing talents took her from Brooklyn to Giants Stadium in the Meadowlands dancing as  a cheerleader in front of 80,000 people for the Cosmos Soccer team. As she learned to perfect her skills in Latin dancing with the Eddie Torres Dance Company, She has gone on stage to dance with great Salsa music legends Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, El Gran Combo, Tito Nieves and La India.

     Some of the grand stages she has performed include the Apollo Theatre in Harlem, The Lincoln Center and Madison Square Garden. In 1989, Madi's 20 year old brother committed suicide. His death changed her life dramatically to want to make an impact with the inner city youth. Jesus, then became a part of her life in 1996. 

     As an accomplished dancer, she now teaches Salsa and Rumba dancing which is inspired and moved by the Spirit as she honors God through dance. The Immanuel dance Center gives private as well as group Salsa lessons and they also perform at various events from weddings to Sweet 16 Parties to corporate events.  

     The Immanuel Dance center dancers consist of male and female dancers that range from age 7 to 40+ and they are from different backgrounds races and nationalities. The repertoire of dances performed include Salsa, Rumba, Jazz, Modern Dance, African Praise and Worship to Hip Hop and Funk.

     Their ultimate goal is to reach the youth as a beacon of light to encourage them with the message of hope through God and dance.
